OUR MISSION:
Light of Christ
Worship Band wants to take the beautiful musical gifts that God has
given us, out into the world! We desire to share our love for the
Lord and encourage His faithful, using moving, God-inspired
Christian music to help deepen their relationship, and freely and
passionately worship Him. We hope to inspire the un-churched as
well, to connect with them using a familiar genre, and Let God
inspire them to embark on a journey of discovery and faith. We
believe that this is His purpose for us and for our
ministry.
A little bit about
Gerard Weber: Gerard has been a
pastoral music minister for nearly 20 years and passionately uses
his musical gifts to reach people with God's message of love,
forgiveness and salvation. Gerard desires to help bring those he
serves into a deeper relationship with Jesus, and a place of genuine
worship of Him.

BACKGROUND:
of
the Light of Christ Worship Band: Gerard Weber is
the Worship Leader & Music Director of Light of Christ Worship
Band and provides the Guitar & lead
vocals. In 2009, he was asked to become the leader of
the Worship Band for Light of Christ Parish's 'Life Teen' youth
ministry. (Life Teen is a Catholic youth program geared specifically
to teenagers.) In June of 2010, our parish community of
Light of Christ began a transformation that combined two other
parish communities with ours. The resulting merging of these three
very different communities, 'downsizing' and staff reductions have
resulted in the need to change our mission as a band. We still
provide music for our parish teens, now on Fridays, but we've also
decided to 'take
it on the road!'
